Beetroot Raita

       This is the best side dish for pulao and Biryani . Very simple to make and its yummy :)

Ingredients:
Cooked beetroot-2 small sliced small (cook the beetroot in water for 5-6 mins then peel off the beetroot skin and slice it)
Yogurt(curd)-1cup
Onion-1sliced
Oil-1tsp
Green chilly-1cut lengthwise
Mustard seed-1tsp
Salt as per taste
  • Heat the oil,splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add onion and green chilly,saute it.
  • Add the beetroot cook for a minute on high flame.
  • Off the flame and Mix the yogurt.
  • Garnish it with Coriander leaves 
                     We can  also replace beetroot with carrot or cucumber
